Lemon
Lemon is a small evergreen tree that produces fruit up
to four times a year. The origin of the fruit appears to be a hybrid
between bitter orange and citron. Lemons have been cultivated in Italy
since the first century A.D. It was introduced to the Americas in 1493
when Christopher brought lemon seeds on his voyage to the New World.
