Lavandin,
Lavandin is a hybrid of Lavender. It is similar in
scent and use, though it does have a higher level of camphor—so the
scent of Lavandin is less floral than Lavender. It is grown in similar
climates to Lavender, but it is a hardier plant and less susceptible to
disease. It is more often used in soaps and cleaners than true
Lavender-due to the lower price and higher camphor content.
