**Essential Oil Education**

Thyme is an evergreen shrub with medicinal, culinary, and ornamental uses. Thyme is part of the mint family and closely related to Oregano. Thyme has been used throughout history to help support digestion, immunity, mental charity, cuts and sores, and athlete’s foot just to name a few. Many cultures have used thyme for embalming, baths, to purify their homes, and help to ward off nightmares. In the Victorian Era, thyme was given a fanciful spin. It was said to attract fairies and then people who drink the tea are said to see through glamour—the magical energy that keeps the fairy world hidden from our eyes.
